The fridge makes my camping trip so much easier. It would be great if it comes with battery.

Worked wonderfully for our road trip on route 66

This Bodega dual zone refrigerator freezer has provided great service on weekend trips to the lake, extended car trip/vacations and right now, it is serving as my main refrigerator while we wait a couple days for a replacement for the kitchen fridge that no longer cools the refrigerator section. A minor problem when I first bought the Bodega was the handle did not properly release and lock for rolling. Bodega mailed a new handle assemble and that was pretty easy to deal with. Meanwhile the Bodega portable fridge/freezer has done far more than I expected, and holds a solid zero degree Fahrenheit in the freezer, 37-degrees in the fridge section, or converts to 100% refrigerator. So much easier than loading ice to cool groceries and perishables, including ice cream, frozen meats, etc. This has been a game-changer for keeping food fresh on trips, and now at home. Great for supplementing refrigerator space for drinks, or standby as an emergency fridge that will run on a battery if needed.

It's a nice quality frig for camping or emergencies. I had put a cup of water in the freezer side and about 2hrs later it had ice forming on it. The app was tough for me to set up took way too long, it was not linking up for me. However I did get it to work. You can control the temperature from the app as well. It it very quite compared to my power chill cooler which is nice. The cutting board is warped to it doesn't fit properly and the scree that hold in the cutting board was stripped out already. But overall I would recommend.

37 qt. Ok, just the east coast of the US. This box took over two weeks to get here, in Tennessee. I could have driven and picked it up and gotten back home in 3 days, and that’s taking a night at a hotel. I got 3 notices about when it would arrive and the only one that was right was “your package has been delayed….” Duh. Now, I get that the weather sucked from snow, but according to the travel schedule, somebody knows how to drive in snow. 🤷‍♂️ PA, VA, TN, GA, NC, Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Atlanta, Chattanooga, Knoxville, Cleveland TN, Athens TN, here. Crazy route. 🤪

But, today it’s here and there is no sense in reviewing the awesome features. You’ve already read them or you wouldn’t be here. 😏 This is what I know so far. The pictures aren’t kidding. It’s extremely sturdy and survived performing as a projectile during shipping. It’s heavy. So whomever heard from god; “Ya know, that thing is gonna be heavy. Put some wheels and a luggage handle on it” glad you were listening designer/engineer person. It’s heavy to start with. Fill it with goodies and it is REALLY heavy. The handle was a godsend….obviously. I set it to MAX cooling and it reached temperature quickly, like 15 minutes or so. I put all my goodies in it and rolled it under the table, cord in tow.

I’m a camper. Have been since a toddler in 1965 sleeping in the back of a VW Bug. Many commercial sites have power. I tent, so sometime I’m in “primitive” camping. No power but real toilets, water and a shower. I travel in a ‘73 VW Thing, Safari or Trekker as it was called. I wanted something that didn’t call for ice so I was on a search mission. I searched the brand websites. Read specs and reviews. Searched Amazon and finding the Bodega, I settled on one that I could manage and would fit in my car passenger seat or back seat, and carry drinks and a few meals. I bought the battery for it too. The battery must be charged installed. There isn’t anything available to charge it outside the cooler. But, you can charge extra batteries at home and use them as replacements as needed. I always get two rechargeable batteries. One charged and installed, the other charged and ready.

Well, that’s my experience so far. I’ll even be able to put stuff in it if our power goes out, and it does during most storms. I think this size is a good choice for couples and small families too. Happy beaching, camping, or generally escaping.
