With its under-counter dimensions and front-vented cooling system, it can be installed either built-in or freestanding.

After spending time with several BODEGA coolers over the past year, including the JC-85A Wine Cooler and the compact JC-70 model, the 2-in1 wine and beverage fridge feels like a natural addition to the lineup. It sits between those two in terms of size and purpose, and in daily use, it ends up being one of the most practical coolers in the lineup.

Design and Build Quality

The BODEGA 2-in1 wine and beverage fridge has a standard 24″ under-counter footprint, measuring 22.7″ deep, 23.4″ wide, and 33.4″ tall. Those dimensions are intentional. They allow the cooler to slide neatly into the same cabinet openings typically used for dishwashers or beverage refrigerators. At roughly 110 pounds, it’s substantial enough to feel like a serious appliance rather than a lightweight bar accessory.

Visually, the 2-in1 wine and beverage fridge design follows a modern bar aesthetic. The front is dominated by two tempered glass doors framed in stainless steel, giving the cooler a clean look that works well in kitchens, entertainment areas, or home bars. The top surface is also stainless steel, which turns out to be surprisingly practical. It becomes a convenient place to set down bottles while opening them or stage glasses during gatherings.

The glass doors use double-tempered Low-E-coated panels. Low-emissivity glass reflects heat while still allowing the interior to remain visible, which helps the refrigerator maintain stable temperatures without forcing the compressor to work harder than necessary.

Rather than storing cans on the right side, both compartments are used exclusively for wine. The left zone is set slightly warmer for red wines, while the right side runs cooler for white wines. Inside, BODEGA 2-in1 wine and beverage fridge uses a combination of glass shelves and wine racks that can be rearranged depending on what you’re storing. The shelves slide smoothly and feel sturdy when loaded with bottles. Adjustable spacing allows taller bottles or unusual shapes to fit without forcing the entire interior to be reorganized.

That flexibility matters more than it might sound. Wine bottles aren’t standardized the way people often assume. Burgundy bottles, Champagne bottles, and many reserve wines use wider or taller shapes that don’t always fit neatly on fixed racks.

Being able to shift the shelves slightly makes the cooler easier to live with over time.

LED lighting illuminates both compartments with a soft interior glow. It’s bright enough to see labels easily without generating noticeable heat inside the cabinet. When entertaining, that lighting also makes it easy to scan the shelves quickly without leaving the door open longer than necessary.

Compressor Cooling and Temperature Stability

Unlike some smaller wine coolers that rely on thermoelectric cooling, the BODEGA 2-in1 wine and beverage fridge uses a compressor-based refrigeration system similar to a traditional refrigerator. That matters because compressors provide stronger cooling performance and better temperature stability, especially in warmer rooms.

BODEGA pairs the compressor with a circulation system that maintains humidity levels between roughly 65% and 75%. That range helps prevent wine corks from drying out over time. When corks lose moisture, they shrink slightly, allowing oxygen to seep into the bottle and affect the wine’s flavor. Maintaining stable humidity and consistent airflow inside the cabinet helps prevent that issue.

Temperature adjustments are handled through a digital LED control panel mounted on the front of the unit. The controls are straightforward and respond quickly when adjustments are made. Once temperatures are set, the cooler maintains them consistently without constant tinkering.

Quiet Operation

The BODEGA 2-in1 wine and beverage fridge’s noise level is rated at around 42 decibels. In everyday terms, that’s quiet enough to blend into the background in most homes. In an open-plan living space, the compressor hum isn’t noticeable unless the room is otherwise silent.

Even then, it sounds similar to a standard refrigerator cycling on and off rather than the buzzing or rattling sometimes associated with inexpensive beverage coolers. For a compressor-driven appliance of this size, the noise level is perfectly reasonable.

Installation Flexibility

One of the more practical design decisions with the BODEGA 2-in1 wine and beverage fridg is its front-vent cooling system. Many refrigerators release heat from the back, requiring several inches of clearance behind the appliance. That design makes under-counter installation difficult.

Because the 2-in1 wine and beverage fridge vents heat from the front, it can be installed flush under a counter without restricting airflow. That gives it several installation options. The BODEGA 2-in1 wine and beverage fridge includes a few smaller features that make daily use easier. A built-in lock and key provide basic security if you want to restrict access to the contents. The refrigerator also includes a temperature memory function that restores the previous settings after a power outage. An automatic lock feature prevents accidental temperature changes, which can happen surprisingly easily with touch-sensitive controls.

None of these features are dramatic, but they contribute to the cooler feeling like a well-thought-out appliance rather than a simple beverage fridge.
