I've had this just a few days, from a freezer perspective I had it set to -4F, according to my insta-read infrared thermometer the surface of the items was between -2F and 0F, perfectly acceptable. I previously ordered the 65Q/68L model because it seemed a better value, but it was just too tall. This 55Q/58L unit is perfect for me, empty for transport it fits perfectly in the right rear passenger area of the 2015-2024 F150 with that single rear seat folded - when filled the top sits just below bed height in the same pickups, so it won't interfere with a closed tonneau cover. And in the case of the F150 2021+ Powerboost, it can maintain temp on long trips with in in-bed electrical hookups.
Highly recommend! This freezer is the perfect size and fits great anywhere. When loaded, it stays below bed height, so it won’t block anything. I set it to -4°F, and my thermometer showed -2°F to 0°F—right on target. It was much better than the larger 65Q/68L model, this one was just right! Would recommend for anyone needing a compact freezer, have had no issues thus far!
We do a lot of traveling for sports and being able to keep the temperature regulated gives me great peace of mind. Not having to worry about stopping to fill it up with ice and having everything in the car covered in water every time the kids get something out of it is absolutely fantastic!! :)
Good looking item and very easy to use. I've only used it twice at a couple of parties and I always get compliments. It's great for traveling and comes with a power cable for both your vehicle and a regular wall outlet. Just remember it will be a little heavy because it's a refrigerator and not an ice chest. Also, I haven't had issues yet but I question the sturdiness of the handle in relation to the weight of the fridge. It's very quiet even when the compressor kicks on. I thought it looked big when I first seen it but during the first use I fit a bunch of drinks as well as a regular size square cake inside with room to spare so no regrets. Overall a great purchase.
I love the Cooler/fridge. It was a tad expensive but there no doubt that you get what you pay for. All was well except it was taking up too much trunk space.
