Ridiculous Price increase in just one year - Feeling taken advantage of

I had to purchase a new charger a year ago and it was only $15.00. Shocked and very upset that my recent replacement is double the costs at $30.00. Would love to know why such an increase in costs, feel very taken advantage of at this point.
