11 Christmas Cocktails Recipes

This is the season to get hosting, and what better way to entertain your nearest and dearer than with a Christmas cocktail! Here, we’ve assembled the top jolly tipples.

The classic cream, sugar and eggs are made into eggnog base, bourbon whiskey and orange juice. Finally, the top is sprinkled with ground nutmeg, cinnamon and orange peel.

4 oz bourbon or brandy

2 teaspoons sugar

Amount of fennel pods

2 lemon peel or orange peel

Decoration: 6 cinnamon sticks

Simply mix red wine, bourbon or brandy with star anise pods, lemon peel or orange peel and a little sugar, and heating it, then let it stand for 5 to 10 minutes, let the taste blend, and decorate with cinnamon stick. You're done!

This recipe refers to the traditional rum drink, but uses spice ice cream sauce to increase the cream flavor, instead of coating a small piece of butter on the drink as traditional. Spice ice cream sauce has rich cream flavor, without the greasy feeling of the original formula. Just mix the spice sauce with rum and boiling water, put nutmeg and cinnamon on it.

The method of spice ice cream paste is as follows: find a large bowl, then add 1 pound of softened butter, 1 pound of brown sugar, 1 pound of white sugar, 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of ground clove and ground nutmeg, stir and mix, then add 1 pint of lightly softened vanilla ice cream, stir again, put it into a container with a lid, seal it and put it into the refrigerator.

1 dash Angostura Bitters

Decoration: Minced Cardamom

As a champagne cocktail, this drink is not based on brandy, gin or other spirits, but is mixed with Burgundy red wine, strawberry syrup and Pimm's No. 1. With its ruby like color and unique flavor, it will definitely impress the drinkers.

1 oz Chartreuse

1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice

3/4 oz syrup

4 drops of normal saline (5:1 water to crude salt)

This drink from Porchlight, New York, combines Christmas colors. The green Chartreuse is mixed with the red Campari, plus lime juice, syrup and a little salt water, to create an unexpected but delicious cocktail with all the ingredients of a truly modern classic.

1.5 oz vodka

3 oz tonic water

1 oz sparkling cider

Decoration: 1 rosemary

During Christmas, cranberries are the best match for vodka. After cranberries are crushed, they have a bright sour taste. Shake with vodka until frosting occurs. Then add ice to the glass. Pour unfiltered wine into the glass to show the fresh taste of cranberries. Then add tonic water and apple sparkling wine. Finally, decorate with fresh rosemary twigs.
