Check what other use in real life:

Before Use:

1. Please put it upright horizontally for 6 hours before plugging it up. Slower cooling than the compressor refrigerator, the absorption refrigerator needs approximately 6~8 hours to get cold for the first time.

2. After step 1, please set the temperature at the lowest and plug it in 110 V, and test if it is cold inside and heated on the back after 6~8 hours. The same step for using 12 V.

For Electricity:

1. Please don't use 110V and 12V at the same time.

2. The 12V cords (not included) for the car cigarette lighter. No positive and negative poles difference. As a secondary function, the consumption of the 12 V working is more than 110 V working.

3. Please don't use house batteries or solar batteries when using DC 12V, it is recommended to use on a car cigarette lighter.

4. Temperature can be controlled on 12 V (upgraded function). The light will come on 12V, but it might flicker or become dim when you open the door, which is normal (In parallel with the heater).

Fit my needs but a few questions

The fridge is a bit bigger than what I replaced, but seems efficient using less energy than I expected. It is hot out but I can run it 30 hours on a 100AH lithium battery. I would like to know how to use the Eco and Max settings listed in the advertising. I am still working out the use of the app.

This refrigerator is fantastic

In 2017 I bought a Ford cargo van to convert into a camper. I spent nine months doing the conversion and produced a very satisfying except for one thing. The refrigerator I installed although still going strong turned out to be too small for satisfaction. It is an Engel almost the identical volume capacity as this Bodega. As most DIY camper builders do I installed a cabinet that uses the rear half of the door space that opens up when the slider is all the way open. I used the cabinet as a place to store a propane tank, a water reservoir, and some tools. A mishap that occurred using a propane bottle inside the van to boil water brought it home to me dramatically that carrying propane inside the van was not a safe thing to do. I immediately decided from now on no more gas bottles or tanks inside the van and now have trailer hitch mounted carrier that I use. The next decision was to scrap carrying a space consuming water reservoir in the cabinet so I could free up space to install this Bodega refrigerator. We've just returned from a three week road trip tour of Utah and I cannot say enough good things about how much better this bodega is than our other fridge. The freezer freezes, the space inside is more useable because it doesn't have angled walls like the Engel, it is quieter, it has an insulated door to the freezer and more room, it has instrumentation to display what the temperature is and enables you to set the temperatures precisely. I don't believe there is any other brand of refrigerator for a van that competes with it when you take the price into consideration.

Fast cooling & quiet operation

It chills FAST!
Spacious:
Both the refrigerator & freezer have decent amounts of space.
I was able to fit the following inside:
2 x gallons of milk - lying flat, 5 x 16 oz bottles of soda in the door after removing one if the shelves several items and 4 bags of cheese in the drawer, a pack of hotdogs, hot dog buns, & a 10 pack box of small popsicles.

The freezer door flips open nicely and if you do it right, snaps closed real nicely as well. If you get clumsy like I can be, you'll knock it off a bunch 🤣 then I figured out the purpose of the round cover in the center of the freezer lid is the sweet spot! If you use just 1 finger and push down on that spot, it will close correctly every time.

Cons? There really aren't any obvious cons to this as long as you know what you're getting. The fridge is not portable or able to just pop into a garage and plug in. It is meant for an rv or boat with shore power hook ups. I actually did not catch on to that until it arrived, but that's no problem since its going in a mobile camper trailer and will be direct wired in place. I did want to make sure it worked before wiring it in to place and taking a family trip for a few weeks and depending on it, so I used an electrical converter to connect the wires and ran it in our sunroom for a few days. Its Awesome! The fridge and freezer cooled down fast! Adjustments to the programming temps are easy to make and the family and I are all very happy with this new addition to our summer adventures.

Great fridge

Had the fridge on for about an hour for testing. Worked great and very low noise. Other than the damage from shipping the fridge works great.

Great customer service

i purchased this fig back in July but before I could install it in my RV I had to go out of town for work for a few months. So when I finally installed it it did not work, it would run but not get cold and by now I was past my 30 day return window so I reached out to Bodega and left them a message and they returned my call within 30 minutes. I was impressed because I really figured I was stuck with a frig that didn’t work. Anyway I was asked to email them my purchase invoice and some pictures of the model and serial number and to my surprise they they sent me a new replacement frig for which I am very appreciative. They were out of stock at the time so did have to wait another month for it but Bodega did send me a replacement. They have great customer service. It was all email communication and 1 phone call but they were very helpful and as I mentioned earlier I am very appreciative to Bodega.
PS: the replacement frig is working great.
